Casual Content Assistant
(Social Media & Creative)
Yagoona, NSW • Mon–Fri between 9am–5pm • ~12–15 hrs/week (3 days ideally)
We’re hiring 1 casual Content Assistant (with potential to grow permanent).
About Fluffe
We spin premium fairy floss for some of the world’s most creative brands (and thousands of sweet-toothed Aussies). We’re a small, design-focused team who care about creativity, detail, and making people smile. If you like playful visuals, social media trends, and clear creative guidelines, you’ll fit right in.
The role
You’ll join our creative team to:

Concept, plan, and storyboard social media content (Reels, TikToks, photos)

Edit videos and graphics to Fluffe’s brand guidelines

Post and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms

Engage with followers (comments and DMs)

Monitor trends and suggest new creative ideas

Maintain content calendars and organise media assets
Shifts: Mon–Fri, anytime 9am–5pm, typically 4–5 hours/day across ~3 days
Pay: Casual role paid under the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2020 with casual loading. For reference, the adult (21+) casual rate is approx. $34–35/hr.
Requirements (must-haves)

Legal right to work in Australia, and able to work weekday daytime hours

Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Reels trends

Excellent written communication and strong spoken English

Creativity is paramount — you’ll be expected to bring fresh, well-thought-out ideas to the table each week and have practical means to execute them

Video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)

Organised, detail-oriented, and able to follow brand guidelines

Comfortable appearing in content

Two references
Nice-to-haves
Photoshop proficiency • a love for content and curation evident through your own channels • prior social media management • basic photography/filming skills • awareness of influencer/brand marketing trends.

Content moves quickly — trends shift daily, so expect fast turnarounds.

Meticulous attention to detail is essential — we proof captions, timings and visuals; sloppy work doesn’t ship.
